My little Cody bear at 14 months old
I’m pretty sure that watching all of the motorcycles at they Toy run is the highlight of Dylan’s year!
Christie snapped this cute picture of Cody hanging out in the Ergo at the Toy Run. He’s just so adorable!!!
She also took this cute one of Dylan
We ended our busy day at our Ward’s Christmas party. Dylan wasn’t too sure about sitting on Santa’s lap but he really wanted a candy cane so he went and did it.
The boys had fun helping Grandma decorate her Christmas tree
While Rich was at Scouts the boys and I had fun being silly together
Christie, Denise & Cheryl came over and did holiday manicures with me.
Apparently we are the only ones crazy enough to go to the park in the middle of December because LBA Park was deserted. But it wasn’t raining and it wasn’t that cold out so we took advantage and got some much needed fresh air.
We had fun decorating giant gingerbread boys as a family
Some highlights of our annual drive-around-Olympia-checking-out-Christmas-lights night. The boys really liked the top one that’s in the Ken Lake neighborhood.
A couple more from tonight’s adventure. The top one was my favorite of the night! Very classic and pretty looking!
Skyler was insistent on making homemade marshmallows for the kids in his primary class for Christmas. Then the list of who he wanted to give them to kept growing. About 30 treat bags and 150 marshmallows later, we’re finally done!
We went to Skyler’s assembly at school and watched him sing with his class
Skyler & Dylan dressed up for church on Christmas Sunday
I tried to get a cute picture of all 3 boys dressed up for church and this is what I got….Skyler smiling, Dylan pouting and Cody crying while stuffing marshmallows in his mouth. Also, it looks like Skyler’s arm has been amputated, lol
Cody liked “riding” the box from our Christmas tree
We made some salt dough ornaments and the boys had fun painting them.
Merry Christmas from the ER! Cody woke up perfectly normal, developed a slight cough around 6 pm, we put him to bed around 8 pm, then he woke up around 10 pm coughing and wheezing and with a full blown case of Croup… AGAIN. Knowing how quickly it went from bad to worse last time and that his pediatrician’s office will be closed for Christmas we decided it was probably best just to head straight to the ER and get him the steroids that helped him last time. Poor guy! This isn’t quite how we planned on spending our Christmas Eve/ Christmas.
My guys all dressed up for church and wearing the ties they got for Christmas.
Couldn’t decide if I wanted to make lemon meringue pie or chocolate covered caramels to take to our “pretend Christmas” dinner with Rich’s family, so I made both.
It takes a pretty awesome friend (Jodi) to deliver Cafe Rio to your house, especially when the closest one is an hour and a half away. It’s every bit as good as I remembered!

December 30- One good thing has come from having 3 sick kids for pretty much all of Winter Break, we’ve had lots of at home time to really focus on potty training with Dylan. I don’t want to jinx it but I think he’s finally figured it all out! Hooray! We’re on day 3 of no accidents! It’s about freakin’ time!
